My name is Jorge and I run 1AF Multi Services, a builders, based in Haverhill, Suffolk. I have been in the building trade all my working life, initially in my native Portugal and then, since 2015, running my own business in the UK.
For close to four decades I have honed my skills transforming residential properties, taking the customer’s vision and making it a reality. The depth and breadth of skills gained over this time spans a wide range of building services. From renovations in period cottages to laying granite driveways in modern houses, from creating garden storage areas to fitting kitchens - I have done it all!
By working closely with customers and understanding what they want to achieve I can advise on what is both realistic and feasible and highlight any foreseeable complications that may arise with a project. The result is the creation of beautiful and practical solutions that deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

We were very happy to see Jorge standing at our front door to review the site and give us a quote for a patio - something we had to delay by a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We remembered that he had done some painting work for us when we first purchased the house and were very happy with his work then. While Jorge did not offer us the cheapest quote, we decided to engage his services, as we could trust that the quote was honest and that he would do an excellent job. The space opened up and we have been enjoying meals, coffees and just the sunshine nearly daily since he completed our new patio. As an added benefit, our children now spend more time outdoors. We will certainly ask Jorge to do other jobs for us!
